Today the Prosecutor for her case and her were talking and she told her she wants to forgive everyone who hurt her as in she wants to visit them all individually and tell them she forgives them... The prosecutor is saying no until the trial is over because it may hurt the case. But I am not sure what to do after.

maybe let her write notes or draw pictures for them and tell her you will save them for her....you can re-visit the idea a few weeks after the case is over or wait for her to bring it up again...this might be her way of making some sense of everything...if she is really persistent with the idea it's okay for her to express her feelings of wanting to forgive without giving anything to the abusers right now....just tell her you will save them in a safe place for her....another idea would be for her to make a video clip and again, tell her you will save it for her in a special place....

i really like the idea of her trying to use some type of art to express her feelings...that can be very therapeutic in itself...
