My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years, a bit of a blended family. He has an 8 year old daughter that recently started creating stories that start a lot of trouble. I guess it all started last year she told the school that she gets punched in the face and gets hit with a belt at home, of course, CPS was called and began an extensive investigation. Towards the end of this she ended up admitting that she lied she made it up "because my head came up with it". The investigation came to an end at that time but lies continues since seemingly to cause problems between myself and her biological mother. Last week we had another occurrence where she told the school that I hit her in the face and that it happens all the time.... CPS was again notified. So far nothing has become of it but I need advice, what do I do?

Does she see a therapist? If not, she should.
