I homeschool my 10 year old son. He has ASD, GAD, Depression and a bunch of other diagnoses. I really want a week off, no kid, no husband, no house to clean, meals to cook. I am exhausted and nothing is getting done which makes me feel worse. I know if I really went somewhere then I would miss my husband and son.

I am sure they could get by for a week, and you would appreciate them more when you return. Especially if you could employ a cleaning service for a three weeks, before, during and after.

If taking a weeks vacation isn't an option, which truly isn't a terrible thing every so often, what other ways are possible in order for you to attend to your exhaustion?

My husband has said that I can take a break but I feel selfish about the money I would be spending just on myself, then again I keep buying stuff online for myself.... ugh!!!
