Hi everyone, last week my d15 was diagnosed with a mood disorder, not otherwise specified, same as I have. She's also been diagnosed with substance abuse, I get help for that from al-Anon.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any support for parents whose teenagers have mood disorders?

She has an appointment with a pediatric psychiatrist next month, I need to find her a new psychologist.

Thanks

You can talk freely here. There are a lot of parents here with kids that have MI.

She did not come home last night so I have to cancel. She is a chronic runaway.

I called the police the next morning and she texted me after that. She spent the night at a friend's house because she didn't want to go to the psychiatrist. She is a chronic runaway.

The program her old therapist was running got cut so I have to find her a new one. She does not want to see a therapist but that is my choice.
