In the public schools here the teachers won’t tie shoelaces or zip jackets. You wouldn’t have gotten any comments about that unless she got hurt tripping on her laces.

Thats probably because it is always dry and sunny in States lol.

They make kids be very independent as soon as they are in kindergarten. No babying them. It’s sink or swim, kiddo!
