My youngest who is 10, still believes in Santa. My middle son who is 12 wants scientific proof for everything that is unseen, even so much as to question religion, etc.
So he decided out of spite to tell my youngest that Santa isn't real. My youngest said to him, "You don't believe in anything!" |

My favorite comedian Bill Burr has a baby daughter. He made this podcast talking about Louis CK's manger or someone defending the truth about respectable business people in the industry.
I, as a guy who doesn't have a kid, was watching this young dad talking to his son the other day to 'zip up' his jacket, the dad looked fine without his jacket zipped up but he talked/reasoned with words and showed how it's done, it looked like the dad didn't need to zip up his own jacket since they were about to drive to somewhere, anyways, this is not about humor, I just think guys would prefer to talk rather than leaving creative messages. I have seen kids of young age saying 'Earth is flat, I haven't seen the proof that is round.' on the internet, I'm sure I can handle this fine if I were a parent. Human knowledge is so vast, it's best to teach fast by skipping nonsense. Teapotism! You know what? Parents would be getting humor out of their own children, handling that part seems more important since parents may not think that. Single dad's blog disappointed me a couple of months back, I just wanna say that teaching of a good sense of humor is predicated upon a cogent informal logic, that's all I have to say for now. You're welcome. Edited to Add: Speaking of humours, Jimmy Kimmel and Ben Shapiro both have babies, I know which kids grow up smarter and more successful. The sophisticated humor that I haven't mastered to recognize probably have more meanings to 'cultivate', I'm sorry, Medicine for whom? Please don't take me serious, if you could understand what I'm saying here, that'd be nice, I don't mean to sound too cynical, no bad drugs for young growing minds, that's what i say. ♪ Here's some advice: It should guarantee freedom Yeah, that would be nice♫ Last edited by Takeshi; Jan 09, 2018 at 11:30 PM. |

Disclaimer: In no way am I advocating anyone give children drugs by saying "Humor is Good Medicine." I utilized the proverbial expression (perhaps from mostly English speaking Christian background??) to create a thread about humor in parenting. That's all, nothing subversive here!
