There are some kid targeted books available, one that I ordered a little after my divorce was "When Mom and Dad Seperate: Children Can Learn to Cope with Grief from Divorce - Maarge Heegaard. I'm not sure how age appropriate that would be for your daughter, my children were 7,4,3 when my divorce finalized, plus my mom passed away right before my divorce finalized. Because of that, with both losses, it's hard to be a 'can do' voice of wisdom, per se.
Any struggles that I'm experiencing with teen and tween sons now is difficult to point back to divorce. However, back then when it weighed heavy on me, ![]() Focus on being a beacon for her, is my advice. |
