My youngest is at his guitar lesson. The teacher is offering to get him a scholarship to a university for classic guitar. He is astounded how my son can sight read, after only two years of playing.
This is the child who got diagnosed ADHD, who the rotten first grade teacher told me he was “the bottom of the barrel” because he wasn’t a strong reader, writer, wasn’t interested in school. I am so happy for him that he has something special about him that he can take pride in. He was intimidated from his much older brothers and thought he was nothing. But, they never got raves from the music teacher! Proud Mom __________________ "And don't say it hasn't been a little slice of heaven, 'cause it hasn't!" . About Me--T |
