Im bipolar But this can go for many mental illness.My kids (5 of them)
Understand that dads bipolar now . But when they do something wrong or get in trouble say well i must be bipolar to it runs in our faimly Now I know dam well that they are not ( mabey one ) it drives me crazy!!!! |

how old are the kids, teach them its a illness not something to use as an excuse even if they did have it actions and consequences its not an excuse for bad behaviour same as any illness
also see the older ones to teach the younger ones a bit more respect __________________ No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. |

Educating your kids on the different levels of mental illness and how serious some of them can be is the way to go here.
