My little girl just made my day. She was so sweet all night. Daddy was at work, did the night shift today, so it was just the two of us. I was blowing her some bubbles and she was just having so much fun. Then after dinner I let her watch a movie - Toy Story - and she actually cuddled up next to me on the couch. She never does that. I really needed that today. Then when I went to put her to bed, she actually went potty! Yay! And then she wanted me to read her a story - so I read her "Guess How Much I Love You", and she actually sat in my lap! Usually she sits beside me but she actually sat in my lap. And then I rocked her to sleep, and sang to her to the lullaby CD we have.

It was the perfect little night. She didn't even have her normal late-evening meltdown/tantrum.

If only every day could be like that! Right!

(she's 2-1/2 years old...)
