Hubby and I just returned from bringing our daughter back to college. I thought that this year it would be easier to deal with, but I was wrong, it's even harder this year. Every year of college that she finishes is one step closer to her leaving for good.
So how do you parents that have gone through this deal with it? I know this is the circle of life and that she's exactly where she needs to be right now, I just miss her so much. It seems like just yesterday she was playing out in the yard in pig tails. Where did the time go? Where is the pause button? __________________ I've been married for 24 years and have four wonderful children. |

I remember as if it was today holding my two day old son on my lap and him sleeping for three hours I was scared to move in case I disturbed his dreams ....
He is now nineteen and really I am redundant so I dont know where the time goes I just know it does. |

(((((Tishie))))) I'm empty nesting more than last year. The twins are getting so old, and they're the babies! Even last year they discussed everything with me, now I'm furniture. :-(

I want a rewind button!
I miss my son so much. I have not seen him in 2 years. We talk on the phone but we are separated by 1,000 miles. I just got off the phone from talking with him. I love him so much and miss him so much. Also I am moving and going through things, as I am yet the keeper of the childhood keepsakes, things made in school like the clock and bookstand made in shop, his first chunky wooden preschool puzzle, etc. . I want a rewind button. |

I still have those handprint things they do in Kindergarden. How did our parents manage to let us go so easily? At least it seemed easy at the time when I was the one doing the leaving.
