Jeremy is in his crib for the first night. And sleeping peacefully.

It took a bit for him to go to sleep, and I had to sing to him and jiggle him a bit, but hes in there now asleep.

I beleive in cosleeping for the first few months or during illness or stress, but I think at six months he is ready to sleep on his own, and I am ready for having my bed back!

I am so proud of my little guy!

Oh Rainbowzz, that is wonderful news. You should be so proud of yourself and him. Sounds like he is growing into an independent little boy!!

Sounds like your methods are working well with your little boy.....it's always a challenge to see if the next step works like it's supposed to.....lol.

Love & common sense & consistency are the best ingredients to good parenting,
Debbie

aw, congrats Rain. Mine were much older when they slept in their own bed. We let each decide when they were ready. Thinking back now, no clue how the last three got here lol.

Thanks everyone.

We made it until four am that night before he wouldn't go back to sleep on his own, so I am doing a half and half right now - I put him in his crib till about four, if he wakes for a bottle then I take him in with me. Its working out well and it gives me my bed back for a while.

Hes growing so fast - sometimes i like it and sometimes i might be a little sad
