I've just seen this Muffy .... so sorry this happened to your son .... did he get praise from the school for not hitting back??????? Sometimes I wonder what makes people tick...... Good for him for not hitting back ... so he said a bad word, whatis he supposed to do stand back and let this other person walk all over him? At least he didn't use violence back ....
I hope you manage to have a meeting with the school and tell them how disappointed you are with they way they behaved ..... did the other boy get punished? With you all the way here ..... mothers instinct coming out strong ..... love, Jinny xoxoxoxo ((((((((Muffy and son))))))))))) |

((jinn)) thank you yes he did get praise afterwards for not hitting back. Some how in the beginning of this the princable was left out. After She had a meeting with teachers and consular involved, and my son talking to her on the phone. He did the correct thing and I have to say took the lunch detentions for swearing at the kid. Afterwards. Was very proud he did that. A few months ago he would not have done that. All as i know as of this point is the other child is out for 2 days. But that may change. As they thought my son was shoved into lockers. Different story with him being hit. They have a zero tolerance....to hitting.. These kids are really adults 17 to 18. Seniors... Its a private school for kids with LD, and other issues. BUT no bad behaior problems((spelled wrong)) I guess there as been a problem all year. In my heart I do not want the other child to be kicked out of this school....WHat i would like to be seen is they go into medation about this. Where both kids are talked threw this with a adult. So the other boy learns how to handle his anger...there is a whole lot more going on than i can say. So if it can I would like it worked threw.... I am sure i will know more today. I am so grateful my son only has a sore jaw. I am most grateful his girlfriend was not hurt... I am really really grateful on how my son handled it this time... sorry to go on... Muffy |

You are not going on hon ,,,, it is good to talk about it. I know how you feel, although of course you want to protect your son, you don't want others to hurt either ... afterall, they have LD. I think YOUR idea of mediation is the best idea, this way the other guy can see and learn by his mistake and learn from YOUR son the correct way by NOT using violence. I hope this is resolved .... You're such a good mum and always do your very best .... like you say look how far your son has come in a year .... you deserve to be proud and pat yourself on the back .... Love, Jinny xoxoxoxoxoxo ((((((((((((((Muffy and Son)))))))))))))))))) |

i am with Jin and the others in hoping this is the end muffy but i know there is a lot of work before it ever really is the end and our children will be allowed to feel much safer... for one thing simply not reacting violently is not enough... we all (myself included) need to learn to think non violently... if we could do that, reacting non violently will be like breathing for us... sending best wishes for all always

oh Dear Muffy .... xoxoxoxoxo
I feel for you both! It's awful stuff, this bullying. It's changing the way we live! Now we have to take self-defense to defend ourselves against attacks from others! I don't know what I can say on the matter ... other than it angers me so that your son, and your family, have to suffer at the hands of bullies. It's not right! Be well, Dear Person, and try real hard to look at today, and stay in the moment, when your heart gets heavy... I think you will resolve this thing somehow, I know you will. Peace and Love, night xoxoxoxoxoxo |

awww ((((nowheretorun))))))) )) thank you ...you have made a difference too ..
sending love back to you .. he plans on going into peace work other wise known as police man...or farther.... on a scale he has learned from all this. The issue this summer and the one now. One he has learned how much bulling hurts. Two.. if he does it makes him one... three ..that there are ways to try to correct it...which means speaking out... With him its working threw the school With me its making ppl aware once again.... ppl in our area,,,,ppl at school...as they had it not correct. Once again I will say for some unknown reason I thought my kids were safe. no child is safe unless we as adults stand up for them. muffy Last edited by muffy; Oct 17, 2008 at 05:02 PM.. Hes such a tall kid and really truly now defend himself. He just was not allowed as it was in school. He also has come to this real peaceful spot in his heart. I do think the girlfriend helped alot. He did as I said swear back at the kid. He has done his 2 days lunch detention. Which was the right thing to do. He is going to meet with someone at school and the other boy and try to work it out. I hope that works... THere seems to be a underlaying tension at the school right now. Which i think scares me more than him. ((can not go into that part thou))) I can say with out a doubt had his girl friend been punched ,,......the out come would have been different....that scares me.... muffy I added this it was on other page (((nightbird)))) I had to think awhile as this is a subject close to my heart. ((my kids)) as you know awwww he plans on going into peace work other wise known as police man...or farther.... on a scale he has learned from all this. The issue this summer and the one now. One he has learned how much bulling hurts. Two.. if he does it makes him one... three ..that there are ways to try to correct it...which means speaking out... Once again I will say for some unknown reason I thought my kids were safe. no child is safe unless we as adults stand up for them. And speak out at our schools, our representives. our ppl next door. who ever will listen. sorry i went on so long muffy Last edited by muffy; Oct 17, 2008 at 05:05 PM.. Reason: added |

Muffy,
Bless your hearts. I have someone close to my heart who was bullied as a child and poured his heart into sports instead of retaliation, and as an adult is now a peace officer in his town. My godchild. A good person. See, the good thing is we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Your son will be fine, it's the schools, and the disturbed kids acting out that need programs, and the rest of the population in every community prepared to stomp out the small fires before young people get hurt. I'm so ((((relieved Muffy & Son & Family)))) that this has passed. I'm glad your boy is 6 ft. too, ( : May the day of aggressive behavior Never ever darken your doorway again!!! Never Ever! Peaceful solutions can work, given time. Much Love to you and yours, and I'm so relieved you Guys are getting thru it ! And thankful you are a voice of light in your area~ Love, night xoxoxoxox (I hope with all my heart that nobody lays a hand on your child ever again, not ever) |

muffy,
i am so sorry this is happening again. that's crazy! i cannot believe the school didn't take the time out to call you. i also can't believe they gave him detention for just name-calling, i mean for Heaven's sake he was hit! argh that makes me so angry. (((muffy & son))) did the other kid get detention, he actually should get a harsher penalty for putting his hands on your son. |

Thank you so much. He wanted to do the 2 day lunch detention. As he did swear. Which is not allowed in school.. He wanted to owe up for what he had done... The other child was out 2 days as far as I know. Then they came together to talk it out.... He did the right thing in my eyes muffy |

thank you so much......cause i know you understand this is what i posted in CC about him.........ty for reading kind one and you truly are muffy One day a gift was given so small. so thin. so fragile. very quiet were you... those eyes knew along The tide you would bare.. the moment you were born my heart was forever more changed your soul, i could see threw your eyes no words were spoken...from you took years for those words to come things we all take for granted caught your eyes, your thoughts, your dreams threw you I saw all the world.. in different shades of hue.. gentleness, kindness, calmness was your window out... every moment was worth it.. I would not change a thing about you my son.......... A very special gift indeed how blessed i am ...... |
