Is anger always a symptom of HPD? I feel that my husband has nearly all the other symptoms but he virtually never gets angry!

One does not have to meet every one of the criteria to be diagnosed with a disorder, so if anger is the only symptom absent, but one meets the rest of the criteria, they would still qualify for that diagnosis. the dsm tells how many criteria a person has to meet out of each. but only a qualified professional can diagnose someone with a personality disorder.
