Okay so I really want to know the factors of Admitting a person with an eating disorder?

1. Do you have to have a low BMI?

You have to act like you don’t want help. In my experience, what I’ve seen other people do, if you try to get help you’ll be labeled as an attention seeker and will be turned away. This happened to a girl I knew.

I’m being told I have an ED but I don’t believe them. I almost got admitted after Thanksgiving but because I am drinking water they couldn’t force me.

But see, I am not seeking out help. I am being told I have an issue that I don’t see. I think I’m just doing regular dieting and am physically sick.

But yeah people with legit EDs hide it from people and usually refuse treatment until they are forced into it.
