Hi, Ariesmars! I'm sorry your parents are harassing you. Why are they after your disability? When you say, they "will not take NO for an answer," what are they doing? How are they trying to pressure you?

Does your disability cover all your bills for food, rent, etc.? If they're paying any of that, you probably owe them for whatever they're paying. It's not "your" money, it's for your living expenses as if you had a job/were supporting yourself.

If you live with your parents then as Perna says, that money is given on your behalf to help defray the costs of your living expenses because you are unable to do so yourself.

I don't know how old you are, or the nature of your disability, but if you're of age, look into low income housing etc. I say look into because most people find it extremely difficult to live on disability, that is pay for rent, food, utilities. Luxuries are unheard of.

If you are already on your own and they are requesting money, the only thing you can do is tell them that you cannot afford help them.

The parents already get some of the money for rent and other expenses, but they want more! And they say it is for doing things with me like going shopping with me, when half the bill is normally theres anyway. They are just taking advantage of me.
