Has anyone gone through this before?

I just started to see this therapist, my first therapist and we are just making progress and just found out from my work the other day that we are changing network and I have no idea what to do.

Is paying out of network really expensive? I am afraid to start all over and what if the therapist does not say the say things as the one I have right now?

You have to discuss with your therapist what to do about the therapy, how much she costs if you have to pay her yourself, work with her to talk to the new insurance company and see if your therapist and they can come to an agreement so she gets paid, etc.

Starting therapy with someone new can be hard but the therapists are all there to help us help ourselves and it's a matter of finding one that you agree with and feel helped by, not that agrees with previous ones.

Sorry your going through this. I hope your therapist will be able to still see you. Maybe she will consider giving you a reduced fee? I hope things work out, this isn't fair.
