I am in a sticky situation... Is there any place that i can order online, or through the phone to get food, and have it delivered to my house, and pay with EBT (foodstamps) card?
I broke my foot, and have no car, and live out in the country area. And no one near that would help has a car, or gas money, and I dont have any money to give for gas.

I'm at wits end. i'm hungry and have money for food, but cant get it.

I suggest you contact your local office. I know a lot of grocery stores do deliver now days but I have no idea if they take EBT or not.

It also may be worth checking with local cgurches to see if they have resources to help with that sort of thing. They often times have people who voluteer to help with shut ins and the likes and maybe they will be able to offer some assitance.

Salvation Army might also be worth a call.

First however, you need to call you local office to see if they can offer some advice

I don't know how familiar you are with Schwan's. They do take internet orders and will allow you to use your EBT card.

It is also worth contacting grocery stores directly and asking what their policy is regarding buying groceries online and paying with ebt. Some will allow you to order the groceries online then you can go in and pick them up and pay for them. If you can at least get a ride to and from the market that could work.

Yes, I'd try Schwan's until I could get out to a store: http://www.schwans.com/aboutus/ordering.aspx

Angel Food Ministries accepts foodstamps, but someone has to pick it up. www.angelfoodministries.com But you can ask online, with your nearest center and maybe someone from the org will deliver it?

Try Swansons, Albertsons, Walmart....

Local offices I've tried for almost a week now (tomorrow will be aweek. lol!) and they are constantly busy, and when i do get through i get "transfered" and get hung up on during the transfer.
I emailed Angelfoodminsistries and asked them if they knew of any resources that could help me out and will prolly call them tomorrow.
Thanks everyone!!!
