I found out today that the hearing officer has set up a medical exam for me in 2 weeks. Has anyone went thru this? what is it like? what goes on during this exam? I hope someone can help.

I just signed up for this site recently and was looking for this exact question and then seen no one answered! I'm very anxious about my appointment...why's it with 2 doctors...what are they going to want to know...can they really see how bad I am in 30-60mins...ahhhh...obsessing about a million questions! I hope yours went well!

hey binkerbot, my exam is'nt til 9-13-12. If you have yours first let me know how it went. I have a lawyer and he said just answer the questions but dont offer to much. I have read alot about these exams and they tend to be very short, and social security will put much more weight to what your dr says compared to what this dr says. they are not social security dr's there is know such thing they are regular dr's hired by the government to exam you.
