I work part-time and a full-time student, have poor spending habits but getting better at them. I don't have any coverage for any insurance and not sure if I can afford it at all.
Anyways, I think I should find a doctor to speak with about ADD. I want to find out if a doctor would find me ADD, something else or nothing. I understand that alot of my problems are seen as normal but I still feel like I could use the help. Just to see what to do to help myself unless I should be medicated. Then again I also want to be able to stop people telling me that it's just normal and to grow up. I like to think I have a good handle on my life. |

You could try searching for a community mental health clinic. They could provide a psych eval and counseling for reduced fees. Also, you could look to see if your school has resources. Depending on what type of school you are attending, they may have discount or free health and mental health care for students. Trade schools generally don't, but colleges and universities in the US often have student health services of some kind, or can point you in the right direction.
Good luck! And welcome to the forums ![]() |
