My taxes were complicated last year because I had to file in 2 parts: Pre and post bankruptcy. I'll admit I filled late, by we got the returns in in May. I've received my notice of assessment for the prebankruptcy filing, but nothing on the post. So I spent 40 min. on the phone with Revenue Canada today trying to get an update on the status of my 2'nd return.

I need the notices of assessment to apply for public drug benefits, which I need desperately.

This is so frustrating.

Revenue Canada lost part of my tax return

Did you make copies? ARGH Always make a few copies of important documents, I learned that the hard way. The best you can do is apply for benefits with the info you have now. And file a formal request for the 2nd and attach to the application.
