A week ago today I was involved in a rollover accident; by some incredible luck I am mostly unharmed. I have a hematoma and some slow to heal bruising, but am otherwise, currently, psychically ok.
Financially however, I am terrified. My insurance is going to go through the roof and I have no method of transportation to and from my job now.not to mention, I have to somehow afford a new car and my next semester of housing and meal plans and books and I just don't know how I'm going to do it.. I'm supposed to be meeting with a DA soon to try to get me out of the reckless operation ticket..

I wish you the best of luck it is a scary situation.

The best advice is to just look around at your options. See if you can find a job closer.
Also you can see if you can do work study with your school to pay for your housing and such so you don't need a car as quickly.

Also I don't know what kind of insurance you have. but they may pay part of the expense to get you a new car.

I hope everything ends up okay for you.

I was the only one involved. I was driving in a bad area, caught the shoulder, attempted to fix it and the car went into the other lane, came back and went into the ditch where it skidded sideways until it hit a driveway and started to flip.
