Anyone bought insurance from them? I am continuing on with my current State insurance as my state exchange still had problems when I tried it and a private exchange got to a question I did not know the answer to and was too lazy to look up. However, my state insurance is only allegedly going until June of 2014 (I'm thankful they are going to wait and see "what happens" too :-) when, if everything is working all right, I'll be forced to change over. I have less than two years until Medicare (another reason I decided not to change, even though I could probably save a couple hundred dollars a year).

i went through the exchange for my nonaffordable health care. it is costing me over five hundred dollars a month. the website was a nightmare. i couldnt get anything to register from work, but my home computer worked. then when it came time to pay, i paid twice and it didnt register. i finally had to mail my payment in. this after spending hours on the phone on hold trying to straighten it out. i still havent received my insurance in the mail yet and i am trying to set up with a new t and pdoc as i cant continue with my old ones now that i have have insurance they dont take. plus i had to pick a primary care provider so i chose from the list and it turns out the doc i chose, who agreed to prescribe my meds for me when i called his office so i wouldnt need to find a pdoc which are hard to find in my area, turns out he isnt even on the plan. so now i have to find a pdoc and a new pcp. i thank god i cut back on my meds so that i have enough to hold me over until i get my insurance whenever that will be because it does not look like it will be by the 1st as they claim.

I went through the exchange but they haven't gotten me in the system at insurance company yet, so I can't pay them until they get me in the system. But they did say since things were so backed up they would extending the payment date until1/10/14. However, I'm like Kali I'm waiting for dr appts and meds. to come through soon. I don't think I can afford until I hit medicare so I don't know what I will do when I run out of money.

I just got a new insurance card for my State plan and took it to my pharmacist this morning as I see my doctor next Wednesday and will need all my meds and it is just a change of how they do meds (not doctor) but the State plan is supposed to go out of business in June because of Obamacare and I'll be forced onto the Exchange (I'll probably use a private exchange (ehealthinsurance.com) instead of my State's now that no one can deny me. I'm just glad the State insurance has enough sense to wait until June and make sure things fall the way they are supposed to so I haven't gotten caught in this January 1 madness.
