Does anyone have any resources for information about Medicare? It's way too confusing for me to understand.
Thank you. |

Call or go into your State offices to find out what you can apply for and how:
Department of Human Services | Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services Home Basically, Medicare is if you have worked enough credits to get Social Security, it is part of the Social Security program and is paid for from money one pays into the system while working but you have become old enough (65) or disabled while working and Medicaid is if you have not worked or cannot afford insurance (and are not able to work). __________________ "Never give a sword to a man who can't dance." ~Confucius |

Thank you. I have Medicare, but I need some more insulin and I can't figure out how to get it. There's a state info line (SHIP) but they don't answer, you leave your number and they say they'll call back, but in 6 months, they've never called back. Sorry, I've had 5 strokes and really have trouble with anything that requires thinking. If it's not easy, I can't do it.
Appreciate your help - |
