well I have too much money saved up from when I was working 8 months ago (3 years in the military).

4k in the bank was 2k too much for SSI, lol.

I meet the qualifications for SSDI based off my work history at 22 years old which is a plus.

I'm doubtful I get approved and this will be a hard 3-6 month wait.

I claimed bipolar disorder and also added anxiety.

I have limited medical records but I am actively being treated.

I know it can be a long wait. Just know you might have to file an appeal if not approved at first. And you can always apply for SSI at a later date if you need to.

It may be helpful to have supporting documentation/letters from your current treatment providers.

I didn't approve for both ssi and ssdi either. As for medical records they went back 3 yrs only and 15 yrs on work history. I was sure to mention all medical issues including back problems from a car wreck. It took me 6 mo to be approved but that's not the norm. My pdoc did fill out paperwork stating I was unable to stay employed. And I used a lawyer my pdoc recommended who took 25% of back pay. PM me anytime if you have questions.

Tnt
