ommited an inheritence when on benefits, I was very manic and never thought until later, much later. It's been found out and I want to get it sorted out. What do I do.?

Hello candy47, contact the benefilt office and let them know that you have a mental health issue and you want to now put it right. They should then work with you to come to a solution, otherwise you will lose all benefits and it could up going to court and you don't want that. Best of luck.

Usually they will sanction your benefits by a third until it is paid off.

You can also put any extra money in a secured trust.
