It went rather smoothly and the doctor said that I was very intelligent at the end. Now the waiting game, hopefully my symptoms out weight the IQ test that were done.

The Dr said the same thing to me! He said Im very smart and he hopes I went back to college.....I got denied the first time. I felt rushed and scared and couldn't explain how my intelligence has nothing to do with my mental illness!

Don't think being "smart" will get you denied. You know...it felt nice to hear a Dr tell me I was smart because I feel like such a failure most of the time. But I told my own Pdoc about it and she told me Im smart too! I said I didn't think I was and she said well she is certainly trained enough to make that statement.

And....look into it...Id wager most bipolar people are of high intelligence. Intelligence has NOTHING to do with mental illness to me.
