Well, I am completely and totally flabbergasted. I just spoke to my welfare caseworker, and the rules have changed for 2015. Even though my pdoc considers me disabled and I'm waiting for a disability hearing, the state welfare department says I don't qualify for cash assistance anymore. They're requiring everyone to work now, EXCEPT for the physically disabled. The mentally disabled don't fall under the disability guidelines anymore.
It's humiliating to be on welfare. It's even more humiliating to be kicked off due to mental illnesses. No more car insurance for me. Not sure how I'll get my kids to school..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That sucks. It's like me being denied health insurance not because of a heart problem I have or my history of cancer but because I'm bipolar. Thank goodness they can't do that anymore.
Sorry to here about your discrimination problems.

Thank you. I'm dumbfounded. Plus, things are about to get really, really financially devastating for me. That $380/month wasn't much, but it made things so much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
