My daughter's both signed up for health insurance. One opted to not sign up last year because everything was a nightmare for her. She paid a month, they said she didn't, and she got her payment back eventually. My Medicaid a few years back took an eternity to get fixed. So...

Daughter signed up in Dec and just keeps getting emails that says she's signed up. She's gotten no bill. At 57 I think it's a nightmare for my brain to comprehend. She's only 21.

Anyone been there? Thanks!

Not me. But I hear the horror stories while listening to the House meetings. And I know what this "affordable" health care did to my budget...

I am not allowed onto the Obamacare because they failed to include people like me.

Thanks JD for the reply! It's hard to try and get anywhere with it. My kids just have to learn to do these things. It's a pain. Enough said..

I'm not involved with Obama Care. I have insurance through work, which given the craziness of Obama Care, I'm extremely grateful for.

I was just ranting in another thread, but it seems like everything about how our medical system (and I'm including how insurance works here) is so incredibly screwed up and difficult to make sense of. It's really sad, and unfortunate, and just ridiculous.

I'm sorry your daughter is having problems with it. Still no bill? Was the insurance supposed to start covering her in January? That would stress me out too... I hope she gets it resolved!

I wish we could start a movement or something to fix the entire system!

She may not get a bill, as in paper. She may have to go online, or call, to pay whichever insurance company she selected directly.

Thanks for the replies everyone! She's calling tomorrow. Her sister has to take care of some things through the company she selected. It's a hornet's next for sure...
