My jaw has popped. I saw a specialist and the recommended treatment is $5900. I checked with insurance and its not covered. I've already freaked about not being able to play clarinet but now there's another issue, the money. Its all up front. Lots of issues. ... don't know what to do. Pain has decreased. I may be able to live with it but I also know that physical therapy may be the better option. So much to decide but bigger issue is not dipping do far down because of stress.

I have it. Its horrible and has to be treated. I saw a chiropractor for a while who helped with keeping the muscles from getting too tight where I clench. He also TENS to control pain. Now I go to a dental school at a local university and am getting a bite splint. A whoa lot cheaper that what you posted!
Thanks for this!
