Fresia was right on target. It's just a savings account. You can do it for yourself by setting up a small account separate from your regular savings/spending account. If interest rates ever go up you could put the savings in a CD that would earn money just sitting there. The money will add up over the years and it will be enough to cover things.

This insurance is offered for ages 50-80 only. They may have other plans but I think the rates are high.

Yikes! I am 57, it would cost almost $70 month.

My doc said I should have omitted the info on depression. Unless they get a release from you HIPPAA prevents the ins company from getting your medical records. Most policies don't pay off for suicide.

If you apply and are denied, the insurance company reports the info to the Medical Insurance Board.

No one will insure, won't they just rate you up on the premium? Maybe work in corporate america most companies insure employees. I guess that is more you have to save for in burial cost. Be okay and help your family be okay with Urns.
