I make 12,000 a year through disability paid by MetLife. If I end up leaving my wife, because I am such a burden to her, would this be too much to qualify for any housing or any kind of Fed or State assistance? I have tried and tried to look many times but the charts and everything else just confuse the crap out of me. I just don`t understand stuff like I could before the repeated head injuries. Heck, I can`t even get anyone to reply about a walker on Craigslist............... The thought s that just constantly run through my head, I could solve everything in a hurry. Shrink concerned about any of it?? No Told him I shot up, I have to try and remember it was over 200 units of fast acting and 180 I think of slow acting insulin. Guy never batted an eye. He is just a pill pusher and schedules 4 people for each 15 minute time slot!! God, I wish I could find someone to talk to besides this guy!! He is no help.. Just like the State and Feds. I am sure I make too much to qualify for anything either!!

$12k a year is not much, I think you would qualify for low cost housing. You would where I live, at least. That being said, you'll probably want to talk to your disability worker. They'll probably know the info you're looking for. Good luck!
