For several months if not a year I was seeing a Dr about 45 mins from where i'm currently living. Well I noticed that I was getting low on my 500 MG Divalproex ER. I called the Dr's office only to hear the news that they would be closing soon. This is bad because I'm out of meds now and I have no insurance now either. I'm kind of lost as what do to from this point on out. Mental health wise things are starting to go down hill.

I'm sorry I don't really have any great suggestions for you with regard to this, especially being that you no longer have insurance.
 The only thing I can think of is to call your doctor's office, & see if there's some way they can renew your prescription before they close & possibly facilitate a referral to another doc. Unfortunately that won't help with the insurance problem. I presume you've checked into, or are checking into, your eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare, that sort of thing. Beyond that, the only thing that would occur to me would be to contact some local mental health / crisis intervention services & see if there's anything any of them can do for you. Best wishes...

You need to get your meds asap, and it might cost a small fortune to see a doctor and buy the prescription completely out of pocket, but that's better than not having it. If you're low on cash, you can get a little money quickly by donating blood plasma, maybe a local hospital could steer you in the right direction for doing that. I wish you wonderful luck.

If you are low-income, go to your local Health and Human Services department.
