waiting.

My application process for a military disability benefits award was completed in May. the process of review is supposed to take 16 weeks. We are on week 29 and no signs of it even being up for review yet. I am panicking as my disability assistance will be cut off Feb 1st.

I'm really sorry that you're running into delays. I read in the Toronto Star in the last couple of days, that the whole application review process is horribly backlogged and reviews are taking up to a year - not to make you feel worse.

Is there any way of getting your disability extended? or going applying for a provincial disability support program - their turnaround times, while not fast, are faster. I got approved for ODSP in a month after submitting the paperwork.
