My pdoc thinks Latuda might help me. My auditory hallucinations finally ramped up to a commanding voice. I really need to get it under control. My pdoc says I may have to go IP.

I've tried Abilify and Seroquel but I had/have nasty side effects on both. Of course we're appealing, but I don't know what to do while waiting.

Without insurance, Latuda is about $1,200 per month. I can afford a portion of that, but not the entire amount.

Has anyone here used a discount card and if so, which one was the best?

My insurance covers it because otherwise they get big ip bills, they know better.

Patient assistance programs exist through the drug companies. They will often grant exclusions and may let you into the program which would give you the meds for free. I have gotten exemptions into programs before; just write a letter with the application explaining the issue. No guarantees obviously but it's worth a try.
