I've been waiting so long for this SSDI hearing, I've forgotten about it for months at a time.
But now it's here.
I can't do better than tell the truth.
I hope I am judged fairly, and according to the law. There's nothing else I can do.
And according the the law, I am entitled to these benefits due to my disability.

I think it went well.
The Judge called my lawyers office the day before to ask a question about my medical record, which made me feel like he was taking this as seriously as I am.
The Judge asked mostly clarifying questions. For example he asked what my duties were when I volunteered and why/when I stopped. I had tried to volunteer since I stopped working 2 years ago, to try to do something with my time and give back to others with mental illness, but I wasn't able to last more than about a year, only 45mins per week, and my therapist had written down I was volunteering.
He didn't make me feel like I was on the defensive.
My lawyer then asked some 'leading' questions, to point out specific incidents she wanted the Judge to take into account.
When the Judge asked the vocational expert, she said there weren't any jobs she believes I can do other than fold laundry.
I am 27, and applying for SSDI for Bipolar disorder type 1, OCD, ADHD and PTSD. My main diagnosis is Bipolar Type 1.
I have enough work credits to qualify. My salary when I stopped working was 6 figures. I'm not sure if that had any impact. I've really left most of the work and understanding of the paperwork to my case manager for this whole process. I'm on long term disability, so luckily that company has also worked with my case manager for a lot of this.

I will update when I hear something back to give everyone an idea of how long it takes me. I'm not sure if it takes longer in different areas.
I applied Spring 2016 (I believe).

That sounds good. I hope you get a positive result soon. You've certainly waited a long time.

Your prior income doesn't affect your outcome but will affect how much you make which is important of course.
