During a mental health episode, I gave my 30 day notice to my landlord and now regret doing so. They said they already found a new tenant, but I cannot find anywhere else to live. I know that we cannot give each other legal advice on this forum, but maybe someone could let me know what worked for them or others in similar situations. I am afraid and don't know what to do. Ideas for solutions that may or may not work are welcome.

Can you go to your doctor or therapist and ask them to write a letter to the landlord to explain the situation? It there any avenue for free legal advice somewhere?

Just tell them that you recind your notice and sorry for the misunderstanding. I would.
