This is what my case status is currently....
"Your hearing was held. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) is reviewing your case, and we are developing for any additional evidence before the ALJ issues a decision. A Social Security Representative may contact you or your appointed representative if we need any additional documents or information." Can anyone tell me how long it will be like this? Any experiences to share would be great... |

I've had 3 hearings in the past 9 years and the range has been 2 weeks (which we know he had written before the hearing) to between 30 - 60 days. My hearings were in southeastern IN, though I live in western KY. We've filed blatant bias (against mental illness cases) with the SSA Division of Quality Services.
The most recent decision that was signed 12 days after the hearing was a result of a US District Court Remand due to ignoring medical records by my treating docs as well as their dr they scheduled for me. All I can offer you is to keep the faith, which I'm trying to do, |

I check the site every day to see if there's been a change, but nothing yet. My lawyers office said to expect a decision by the end of this month or beginning of next, based on our area. The uncertainty is actually making my health worse, and my t and pdoc can see it. I can't imagine what 9 years feels like. I wish you the best. |
