I went shopping yesterday for earrings. Well I bought 4 pair, a ring, perfume not on my list, a dress that doesn't fit yet, and a sports bra, really I need bras but I haven't begun to exercise and never wear sports bras. I'm beginning to wonder about my mental health. Yes I am losing weight, the dress fits my mom but I have 4 sizes to go for it to fit. I've lost 4 sizes so far.
I'm buying furniture though my case manager said she would take me to a donation center. I'm just picky, mom decorated my last apartment. I don't want crappy furniture. But I'm not 100% moving yet my actions say I am. Should I mention this in my therapy appointment Tuesday? Maybe the pressure is getting to me. I rarely spend money. __________________ Son: 14, 12/15/2009 R.I.P. Daughter: 20 Diagnosis: Bipolar with Psychosis. Latuda 100 mgs. |

Yes talk to your T regarding overspending and your move coming up.

Sounds like you went on a little "binge" there. It's far from the most self-destructive thing you could have done. So don't get into guilting yourself too much.
Congratulations on dropping down 4 sizes. Think of the furniture as an investment. If you really liked the stuff, it will bring you satisfaction for years to come. Let the new sports bra incentivize you to do something physical, while wearing it within the next week. Then figure out what has had you feeling stuck lately. This sounds like an attempt to burst through some bonds that were getting too tight. Your T might have some insight. |
