Help Anyone! My 30 year old son was diagnosed ASD, ADHD, and OCD 3 weeks before the pandemic hit last year. Have not been able to get him help since. His referrals from that time have expired. He had a new Primary Care appt last week. The doctor wrote an "Assessment and Plan". Psychology for the OCD and ADHD, and Neurology for the ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). I was happy that he would be getting help. Then, a few hours later, a phone call from the Primary Care referral management saying that they need me to find those doctors and call back so they can write the referral. Huh? So, I thought that would be something they do? Anyway, I can't find any source that lists doctors that are covered by Medicaid or UnitedHealthcare. Does anyone know of a resource that can help me search for the doctors that my son needs, so that I can get the referrals written? My son is incapable of doing this himself.

Hi @JustMeABC - welcome to MSF MySupportForums. Sorry you are in a tough situation needing to get a Medicaid Doctor referral.

You could contact the medicaid office in your state or they may have a website that helps you find a doctor. This link may help also:
