I spent most of the afternoon on the phone with a debt management consultant. I've stupidly wracked up a lot of payday loans - being broke, I made some stupid decisions.

Anyway, I can get half the debt written off, with a consumer proposal, and I have to make monthly payments of 110.00 for 60 months, after which it will come off my credit report.

It's better than bankruptcy, which I had to file back in 2012, but cleared that successfully.

It'll mean going back to living without credit cards, but I pretty much do that now.

I just wish I wasn't such a loser when it comes to managing my money.

Good for you for getting a plan to repay your debt. Good luck. If you think your bad with finances get a repayee. That would give you limits on spending and your Bill's would be covered.
