One thing, they have to have a PhD, or be working under one.

Sometimes you can convince them to sign up.

Check with your local NAMI. They should have a list of T’s and what insurance they accept.

Ts have to jump through a ton of hoops to be approved by Medicaid. Then they (Medicaid) are notoriously slow at paying for services.
Thanks for this!

Money. So many doctors AND dentists don't take Medicare/MediCaid. They don't get paid enough or there's too much bureaucracy to get paid at ALL. My dentist said she doesn't take MediCaid because of the low reimbursement: She'd have to see dozens of patients at day to pay her bills.

That doesn't do that patient justice nor her.

It truly sucks and wanted to post hugs and say sorry also. Health care in this country REALLY sucks. Government is just plain out of touch with how people live, pay for stuff, or what their needs are and why. And from personal experience, a PhD isn't always more effective, helpful, or emphatic than someone without one.
