So I explained everything to the judge, they determined that my disabilities were "moderate" and that if I were to ever work, I would need to be in a protected work environment. However, they didn't really cover how severe it would pan out to be to them, so I'm confused. I don't hear back from the judge for another month. I still don't know if I'm going to get my benefits, even though my attorney said I did well. I just want to get this out of the way so I can go back to school and get my medical coder and biller certification. I feel like it may be my only chance in a protective work environment and perhaps being able to keep benefits. I heard you can have a part time job and still keep ssdi benefits. I don't know if I'll be able to work a full time with everything I go through on a day to day basis, and I keep getting fired from jobs because I keep getting sick.
