They took it away because I spent 35 consecutive days either in medical detox or an inpatient dual diagnosis program and "my living arrangements have changed" and apparently according to them I didn't have any expenses during those 35 days, and don't afterwards. I'm back to my original living situation (with a relative, paying rent, splitting grocery bills, etc.). I plan on calling SS and explaining the situation on Wednesday. Do you think they'll give it back? I'm even more broke than I was when I initially received SSI, but I guess the change in the economy is a factor too. If it makes a difference I'll be dealing with the state of New Hampshire.
