Recap: 56f I work 38.5 hours a week at $17usd/hr. I've been there 7 months.
I was recently very sick with a diverticulitis flare and missed some time at work. It's difficult for me to work full time, let alone get a 2nd job. However my income is not covering my expenses. I've added this months budget (I forgot to deduct medical co-pays and prescription). Some things are auto deducted. Housing assistance pays $138 of my rent. I get paid bi-weekly and won't have enough for food or gas until the next pay. I'm brain storming and would consider moving if I could afford it. The only thing I can figure is either pay half my rent for now, or don't pay car insurance. Is there something I'm not thinking of? Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk |

I know you have said in previous posts your health issues prevent you from being able to use a food bank, but if you share with them what you need to avoid due to medical reasons, they may be able to put together food that you can use. There are plenty of YouTube channels on frugal cooking or recipes that one can make from pantry items that are cheap and filling.

So tough.
If you live in a populated area, then people in the Buy Nothing movement will bring you food or at least leave food outside their homes for you to pick up. But if you live in a rural area, this won't work. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Gabapentin 1200 mg+Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications, some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity BMI ~ 38 |
