Geez it's been a weird week.
![]() Then yesterday, my wife & I were grocery shopping. I thought I noticed a couple of instances where older men were looking at me (trying to figure out what I was?)... probably not. My wife & I were getting some things at the deli counter. And the older woman who was waiting on us kept referring to us as: "you ladies"! ![]() But then, this afternoon, I was sitting on a bench outside of a local ice cream parlor. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That is sort of weird. Yet, people dress and look all sorts of ways these days. Some folks have evidently seen me as a young boy--and I am an old lady!

And it all depends on what company you are seen with. Back in the early 90's I was coming back from a dance competition (I'm female with full hair and makeup done), accompanied by a bunch of my long-haired, heavy-metal guy friends, and I got called "sir".
I've also been called "sir" with my hair in a pony tail and a ball cap on. I think some days, people see who they "expect" to see - like two ladies grocery shopping together.
