"I am not trapped in my body, I am trapped in other peoples perceptions of my body."

How liberating that must be. Very moving.

I can't help but still feel trapped, and it has little to do with how I'm perceived by others - all to do with how I perceive myself.

"Button Poetry" is a YouTube channel I just recently stumbled onto. There's more GREAT STUFF there. I'd encourage everyone who has an interest in performance poetry to check it out!
