I follow AHS with Freakshow I've been looking up all the "freaks" to hear their story. This one I am sharing is really cool. She is a giant in real life, and she is also transgender. She talks about how she got into the role which was initially for a man and coming out as trans. Really cool. There are some clips of the show in the interview, but they are G-rated clips of her and the other "freaks".

And I just found out while looking for a picture of her...you may already know her as a model! This is her and Jyoti Amge from Freakshow.

And here's the video of the interview:

Thanks for this!

Admittedly, I try to stay away from watching things with transgender issues. Every time a transgender is brought up in a T.V. show, they are either psychopaths, hang around in smokey, swanky places with odd people, or jokes are made of them. Perhaps that will change some day.

Well, if you've watched Freakshow, then you'd know this isn't the case. True, it's a horror tv show, but all the freaks have their own back story, and one of the main freaks is on a mission to show the world that they are as normal as everyone else and the actors themselves all have their own stories and they enjoy working on the show.
