I asked for your help last Sunday to enact Leelah's Law, and the transgender community (and their allies) came through .Last week we needed 33,000 signatures by February 2, 2015, and I am very happy to report that we have not only reached 100,000 signatures, but we are approaching 110,000 signatures!.

The state of Oklahoma just passed a law protecting conversion therapy, so transgender youth are under attack.

Thank you so much.

What rubbish! I hope it gets overturned ASAP! I can't believe some people still hold on to their outdated beliefs. It makes me so mad...
Thanks for this!

We made it! I'm so glad so many people joined together to do this!

I'm shocked any state would protect conversion therapy. The entire medical community has condemned it as psuedo-science and cruel. Same for that "rebirthing therapy" that I've read about.

You can't really even call these things therapy. Therapy is a treatment to heal. Conversion therapy has the word 'conversion' in it. That does not imply healing, it implies force.

Hoping that we can get rid of this ****** practice, and soon. Too many kids are subjected to this cruelty. It's abuse, not therapy.

I actually misspoke: A legislator in Oklahoma has proposed a law to protect "conversion therapy." I extrapolated from the proposal that other legislators would vote for it. I have a tendency to engage in inductive thinking (instead of deductive or abductive thinking), maybe because of too many hateful proposals that have become law in my lifetime.
