We're in a DID system. Dissociative Identity Disorder. More than 1 person in a body because of trauma at developmental periods of life.
Okay we have a lot of people in this body. 99% of them agree to do a medical transition FtM 1 out of the lot does NOT. I am that 1. I am really upset. I have been stuck fronting for 20 days I have had to admnister the hormones. And I HATE the changes. The body was fine. It's even negatively impacting my sex life. High libido, reduced sensation. I've been in on and off crisis mode and I'm 1 more unsatisfactory sex session away from destroying all of the hormone medication and burying it in the trash. |

I'm sorry there's really nothing I can offer with regard to this. But I noticed you had yet to receive a reply to your post. So I thought I would write one. And while I'm certainly familiar with concerns related to being transgender & transitioning, I know little about DID.
Based on what you wrote I wonder if, perhaps, posting this in the Dissociative Disorders forum might get you more replies than posting it here in the LGBTQ+ forum. (I don't really know. But that's just a thought.) And, beyond that, hopefully you're seeing a therapist or a psychologist. Talking with them about your concerns may be another important thing to do. My best wishes to you. |
